Shang Lake Scenic Area
Introduction of Shang Lake:
Shanghu is named after Shang Mo Jiang Shang (Jiang Ziya) who lives in seclusion and fishes here. It is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction, the first batch of national urban wetland parks, and the top ten charming ecological leisure lakes in China. The main body has a water surface of 800 hectares, with vast smoke and clear water. It reflects each other with Shili Yushan, forming a natural landscape painting. The lake is full of wetlands, and seven islands, including Hexiangzhou, Diaoyu Zhu, Songbird Island and Peach Blossom Island, are inlaid with a unique landscape of lakes and islands in the islands. The island has verdant trees, gulls and herons flying, and pleasant scenery. There are a number of cultural landscapes such as Taigong Island, Flushing Water Villa, Ship Model Hall, Jiangnan Peony Hall, and amusement projects such as Happy Island and water cruises. The scenic spot is rich in four seasons, among which the spring peony fair has become one of the most influential tourism festivals in Jiangnan region.
